Conserving Water

CVEC uses the latest technologies to protect water and minimize impacts to the local watershed. Water for the facility is obtained from deep underground wells to prevent impact on the Swamp River and surface aquifer. Air-cooling reduces water requirements by more than 98% compared to traditional cooling, and a zero-liquid discharge system ensures no water is released to the area surrounding the site.
