Cricket Valley Energy is a proposed 1,000 megawatt (MW) combined-cycle, natural-gas power plant in Dover, New York. The planned facility incorporates the most advanced and environmentally-responsible turbine technology available, making it among the most efficient, safest, and environmentally-friendly power plants in New York, with the ability to generate electricity for nearly one million homes.

Cricket Valley is a subsidiary of Advanced Power Services, a leading energy development company based in Boston, Massachusetts. Advanced Power’s management has a proven track record of developing more than 9,000 MW of power generation projects worldwide.
